History of reCREATE
February 2008 - reCREATE is incorporated as a nonprofit in California.
April 2008 - reCREATE participates in the Earth Day Celebration in Roseville, CA.
August 2008 - The reCREATE truck is purchased.
October 2008 - reCREATE begins Education Program.
January 2009 - the City of Roseville and reCREATE are awarded a reuse grant from the California Inegrated Waste Managment Board.
March 2009 - reCREATE gains 501(c)3 nonprofit status.
April 2009 - reCREATE begins actively looking for a site for the Art Center.
June 2009 - reCREATE is a registered service mark.
August 2009 - reCREATE signs lease for Art Center to open in October.
October 2009 - reCREATE Eco-Art Center opens.
November 2009 - reCREATE Eco-Art Center starts offering classes for kids and adults.
May 2010 - Over 5,000 students have partipated in our Rolling reCREATE School Program - a fieldtrip we bring to you.
July 2010 - Director Donna Sangwin, named to the Core Committee for Waste and Recycling for the Greenwise Sacramento program.
October 2011 - reCREATE relocated to a 3,300 square foot space!
