Scouts and reCREATE

reCREATE and the scouts share the same mission... “use resources wisely!”  The reCREATE Eco-Art Center works with local business’ to divert thousands of pounds of clean, reusable materials from going to the local landfills each year.

Our hour and fifteen minute program starts with a tour of our Eco-Art Center where  we show you the types of materials we collect. The tour is followed by a presentation on waste reduction and environmental conservation where we answer some very important questions...

How can you make a difference?

We have designed the program to meet the age-appropriate needs of a Daisy to an Ambassador. Badges can be earned, through your troop, based on various Try-its, for example the Brownies “Earth is Our Home” or the Juniors “Eco-Action”.

Program fee is $150.00 and can accommodate two troops or up to 25 scouts per session.  This program is already at a specially discounted rate, so coupons or other discounts cannot be used toward it.
