Imagine a summer where kids will stretch their creativity and knowledge through building, exploring, testing, tinkering, creating and sharing. Our one-of a kind camps will ignite imaginations, build skills, and give kids a springboard to be creators and makers.
For the third year, ReCreate has been selected as the EXCLUSIVE Maker Corps Host Site in the Greater Sacramento Area! The Maker Education Initiative helps organizations like ReCreate increase our capacity to engage youth and families in making. Through this program with the Maker Education Initiative, and with a grant from Cognizant, ReCreate has a full offering of maker camps and activities at camp fees much lower than we could offer them otherwise. We are proud to be accepting applications for a limited number of camp scholarships based on need. You can apply here.
Our camps inspire creativity, tinkering and hands-on project-making by using our reuse materials in conjunction with some nifty new additions. Our Maker Camps are hands-on exploration in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM).
